His friends and supporters posted in Tambe\u2019s defense on his personal page.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn this life people will always prey on your downfall especially in the business were in. No apologies are ever needed for us Fam. only Gods humility,\u201d said one post.<\/p>\n
\u201cEverybody got issues and problems and folks gon talk about you regardless,\u201d said another.<\/p>\n
Several supporters either said they were praying for Tambe or posted prayer emojis.<\/p>\n
Trouble with law started in 2017<\/p>\n
Tambe was arrested in 2017 and charged with organized crime. Officers were conducting an undercover investigation in the 3000 block of 4th Street and looking for two people listed in an arrest warrant.<\/p>\n
A police report from April 2017 said, \u201cPrior to serving the warrant [an investigator] arranged an undercover purchase of cocaine from Terence Tambe.\u201d<\/p>\n
The same report also said, \u201cOn March 24th, 2017 [the investigator] conducted a controlled purchase utilizing confidential informant #17-009 to purchase cocaine from Terence Tambe. Directly after the controlled purchase [the investigator] observed Terence Tambe meet with [a man who was later arrested].\u201d<\/p>\n
In 2021, Tambe took a guilty plea and was sentenced to 10 years\u2019 probation. Prosecutors in September 2022 filed an application to revoke his probation, but instead the two sides struck a deal. His conditions of probation were amended and he went free.<\/p>\n
But then in December 2025, prosecutors filed another motion to revoke his probation. It listed positive urine tests for THC, failure to show up for a drug treatment program and failure to pay his monthly probation supervision fees.<\/p>\n
Court records said, \u201c[Tambe] failed to pay Community Supervision fees as directed by the Court. The amount owed to be current through this month is $1,521.00.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201c[Tambe] failed to report to the community supervision officer as directed,\u201d the motion to revoke said \u2013 claiming at least 14 monthly meetings missed.<\/p>\n
The original sentence on the case was 10 years in prison suspended for 10 years.<\/p>\n
The 806er<\/p>\n
According to his page, Tambe had to build his social media profile twice, because his accounts were taken down last year. The reason was not given.<\/p>\n
An Internet archive of his website confirmed the claim by listing what used to be his Facebook and Instagram pages. His current Facebook page was started in September of last year.<\/p>\n
His website, currently offline, previous said, \u201cOur Mission \u2013 We amplify West Texas voices, spotlight hometown talent and keep the 806 in the know; unfiltered, unapologetic, always on time.\u201d<\/p>\n
An April 1 post said, \u201cWhat took 4 years to build, yall helped us rebuild in less than 6 months. That is nothing but God\u2019s grace, hard work, and a community that really believes in what we do. We do not take this moment lightly. Every follow, every share, every comment, every repost, every bit of support helped get us back here.\u201d<\/p>\n
His post also said the new page was up to 41,000 followers \u2013 just like the previous page before it was taken down.<\/p>\n
\u201cSame mission. Bigger purpose. Stronger than ever. Thank y\u2019all for helping bring The806er back,\u201d the post said.<\/p>\n
