Private luxury flights are really taking off in North Texas.<\/p>\n

Jet Out Inc., a Milwaukee-based carrier, announced Oct. 8 it will launch a new regional base by the end of 2025 although the company hasn\u2019t revealed which local airport will host its fleet.<\/p>\n

The company will use Citation CJ4 Gen2 aircraft that can travel more than 2,300 miles and carry up to eight passengers. Flights will be supported by Jet Out\u2019s local team of pilots, maintenance employees and sales staff. The company also has a concierge and dispatch team to complement operations.<\/p>\n

The North Texas base will be Jet Out\u2019s fourth after launching operations in Wisconsin, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Scottsdale, Arizona.<\/p>\n

\u201cDallas-Fort Worth is one of the world\u2019s great aviation hubs,\u201d Joseph Crivello, the company\u2019s CEO, said in a statement. \u201cExpanding here allows Jet Out to deliver unmatched reliability and convenience to a growing community of private flyers, while also creating jobs and strengthening local infrastructure.\u201d<\/p>\n

The airline \u2014 which is already flying in and out of North Texas \u2014 has a co-ownership program that starts at $824,000, depending on the aircraft, as well as co-leases.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The airline offers discounted one-way private jet trips known as \u201cempty leg flights.\u201d For instance, an Oct.13 flight from the Denton Enterprise Airport in Texas to Scottsdale would cost Jet Out co-owners $5,500 per person.<\/p>\n

A wealthy air hub<\/p>\n

North Texas, already a robust air hub with Dallas Fort Worth International Airport ranked as the third-busiest airport in the world, has a significant number of wealthy residents.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Nineteen local billionaires<\/a> landed on Forbes\u2019 2025 list of the 400 richest Americans.<\/p>\n

To serve such customers, Las Vegas-based Cirrus Aviation Services announced in September <\/a>that it would expand its luxury flight operations to Dallas Love Field.<\/p>\n

Officials at Fort Worth\u2019s Meacham International Airport, the state\u2019s second busiest general aviation airport, are spending $6 million in runway upgrades<\/a> because of the booming number of private and charter flights. Meacham generates an estimated $165 million in economic activity<\/a> and 900 jobs across North Texas.<\/p>\n
