EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14\/CBS4) \u2014 Runners, walkers, and community members are invited to lace up their sneakers for the inaugural Amigo Man 5K Race & 1 Mile Walk, set to take place May 3 at the scenic McKelligon Canyon.<\/p>\n
The event aims to bring the community together for a morning of fitness, fun, and philanthropy, with proceeds supporting the Bryan Crowe Scholarship.<\/p>\n
Participants are encouraged to arrive early, as gates will close promptly at 7:15 a.m. <\/p>\n
The 5K race is scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m., followed by the 1-mile walk. <\/p>\n
Registration costs $35, with a $5 discount available for military participants.<\/p>\n
The event is designed to be family-friendly, welcoming even four-legged companions. Pets can join free of charge and will receive a complimentary bandana. <\/p>\n
