Officials believe natural gas caused the explosion. Residents want to make sure officials are absolutely sure their homes are safe before they return.<\/p>\n<p>The first home exploded around 6 p.m. Tuesday evening.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI walked out there, and you could see through the front door that the back of the house was gone,\u201d Jimmy Aldape said.<\/p>\n<p>A second bang was heard two hours later, but this time the home on fire was familiar to Aldape.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy brother actually owned the second house that blew up,\u201d Aldape said. He sold it fifteen years ago. It was all electric.
