People who live near Preston Hollow Dr are uneasy about returning to their homes after two houses exploded in the neighborhood. Officials believe natural gas caused the explosion. Residents want to make sure officials are absolutely sure their homes are safe before they return.<\/p>\n
The first home exploded around 6 p.m. Tuesday evening.<\/p>\n
\u201cI walked out there, and you could see through the front door that the back of the house was gone,\u201d Jimmy Aldape said.<\/p>\n
A second bang was heard two hours later, but this time the home on fire was familiar to Aldape.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy brother actually owned the second house that blew up,\u201d Aldape said. He sold it fifteen years ago. It was all electric. He didn\u2019t have gas.\u201d<\/p>\n
Aldape and other residents who live near Preston Hollow say they don\u2019t feel safe because they have so few answers.<\/p>\n
\u201cRight now, we feel uneasy because we don\u2019t know the reason for the explosion,\u201d Renee Ruiz said. \u201cIf we know what it is then we how to correct it.\u201d<\/p>\n
