AUSTIN, TX (April 23, 2026) \u2013 On Saturday, a disastrous hit-and-run crash on Robert T Martinez Jr Street and east Cesar Chavez Street injured one person.<\/p>\n

The incident happened at around 11:37 p.m. on Robert T Martinez Jr Street and East Cesar Chavez Street.<\/p>\n

According to the Austin Police Department\u2019s Highway Enforcement Investigations Unit, a vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle, then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.<\/p>\n

Moreover, officers said that the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, authorities<\/a> best described the suspect as possibly Hispanic, possibly in her 20s, with a possibly thin build, in a vehicle that is believed to be a small gray or silver sedan.<\/p>\n

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.<\/p>\n

Due to limited information, the Austin Police Department continued investigating the crash.<\/p>\n
