He was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators say the man was in the median and tried to cross northbound traffic before being hit by the truck.<\/p>\n<p>The driver of the 18-wheeler remained at the scene and called the crash in immediately. At this time, officials say the driver is not considered a suspect and is not facing any charges.<\/p>\n<p>A specialized investigative unit is working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident, including whether it may have been accidental or intentional.<\/p>\n<p>Comment with Bubbles<\/p>\n<p>BE THE FIRST TO COMMENT<\/p>\n<p>Northbound lanes remain closed as the investigation continues.
