They met with the victim and a group of her friends and went to a bar.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Later that night, the victim started blacking out and does not remember much after that.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Testimony shows Nevels went with the group to the victim\u2019s home and assaulted her in her bedroom, forcing her to wake up.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Nevels denied the accusations on the stand, but prosecutors said he lied during his testimony.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 KCBD.
