He also had one forced fumble for a Texas A&amp;M defense that helped<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sports\/texas-am-aggies\/2024\/11\/27\/mike-elkos-rise-from-mobile-home-upbringing-to-texas-am-forged-by-results-reputation\/\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\"> Mike Elko\u2019s<\/a> team put together an 11-1 regular season to reach the program\u2019s first-ever College Football Playoff.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sports\/texas-am-aggies\/2025\/01\/02\/texas-am-gains-commitment-from-iowa-state-defensive-lineman-tyler-onyedim\/\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">Onyedim transferred to College Station<\/a> following four seasons at Iowa State under head coach Matt Campbell. He started his last two seasons with the Cyclones and was a 2023 All-Big 12 Honorable Mention before making the switch to the SEC.<\/p>\n<p>His\u00a0impactful season with Texas A&amp;M helped him climb draft boards to become a consensus top 10 defensive tackle in the draft.
