But the doom and gloom is not over in<a href=\"https:\/\/forecast.weather.gov\/MapClick.php?lat=32.7779765&amp;lon=-96.7962148\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\"> North Texa<\/a>s, where forecasters warn of large hail and possibly damaging winds all weekend long.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.weather.gov\/fwd\/\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">Severe storm risks <\/a>first rose in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth metro area Friday, April 24. But they\u2019ll linger over suburbs northeast of Dallas throughout the weekend. The National Weather Service says isolated pockets of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysanantonio.com\/news\/weather\/article\/large-hail-cold-front-texas-22217868.php\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">large hail <\/a>are the biggest threat, which the agency defines as having a diameter of 1 inch or more.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIsolated severe storms will be possible each afternoon and evening through this weekend, primarily along\/north of I-20 and along\/east of I-35,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/forecast.weather.gov\/product.php?site=FWD&amp;issuedby=FWD&amp;product=AFD&amp;format=CI&amp;version=1&amp;glossary=1\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">NWS Dallas-Fort Worth office<\/a> warns. \u201cMany locations will remain dry! The primary hazards will be isolated large hail and damaging wind gusts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dallas itself has fairly low-level thunderstorm odds, hovering around 10%. But the national agency says that storms moving across Oklahoma toward Arkansas may cross over the Texas border and hit towns northeast of the DFW metro near the Oklahoma-Arkansas-Texas border.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday and Sunday, it\u2019s towns like Sherman and Paris \u2013 or as far south as Canton \u2013 that have the greatest risk of severe storm activity.
