WACO, Texas \u2013 The Texas Tech track and field team wrapped up day one of the Michael Johnson Invite Friday evening at Clyde Hart Track & Field Stadium.<\/p>\n

Jackson Bragg<\/a> finished third in the men’s pole vault clearing 5.51m (18-1). In the men’s discus, Tech went 2-3 led by Reggie Hays Johnson who threw 53.8mm (176-9). The women’s discus saw McKenzie Davis<\/a> and Amori Pierson<\/a> with the 1-2 finish. Davis landed a mark of 54.00m (177-2).<\/p>\n On the track, Jenna Carter<\/a> placed fourth in the 5k with a time of 17:22.38. Anita Afrifa<\/a> highlighted the 200m, placing third with a time of 23.30 (2.4w).<\/p>\n Up Next
