The\u00a02026 NFL Draft <\/a>is down to its final night at\u00a0Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Penn.<\/p>\n

While Friday’s second and third round were a bit light on activity for the burnt orange, it was a good second night for head coach\u00a0Mike <\/a>Elko<\/a>‘s players.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Over the two rounds the Dallas Cowboys<\/a> had just one pick and selected edge Jaishawn Barham from Michigan. The Houston Texans<\/a> had the 36th and 59th picks of the night and selected Ohio State defensive tackle Kayden McDonald and Michigan TE Marlin Klein.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Texas schools with other draft picks include four from Texas Tech: LB Jacob Rodriguez to Miami, DT Lee Hunter to Carolina, edge Romello Height to San Francisco and wide receiver Caleb Douglas also to Miami. TCU’s Bud Clark was the only Horned Frog drafted and he was the last pick of the second round by Seattle.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With the 92nd pick, the Cowboys selected Michigan\u00a0edge Jaishawn Barham.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With the 91st pick, the Raiders select guard Trey\u00a0Zuhn III.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Another Texas A&M DT is drafted, this time selected 81st overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Texas A&M DT was selected by the Denver Broncos 66th overall.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With the 65th pick of the draft, the Cardinals select Miami quarterback Carson Beck. Texas A&M fans will remember him taking down the Aggies in the CFP last season.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Another Texas tie: Safety Bud Clark from\u00a0TCU is picked 64th overall to end Round 2 of the NFL draft.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Originally a pick for the Chicago Bears, the Titans make a trade to select Texas Longhorn LB Anthony Hill Jr. <\/a>at 60th overall.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With the 59th pick, the Texans select Michigan tight end Marlin Klein. Texas fans will remember his four catches for 39 yards in the Citrus\u00a0Bowl<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With the 56th pick, Jacksonville selects Texas A&M tight end Nate Boerkircher<\/a>. He is the fourth Aggie is taken in the draft, passing last year’s total of three players selected.\u00a0<\/p>\n

After trading up from the Vikings, with the 49th pick the Panthers select Texas Tech DT Lee Hunter. The Red Raiders might end up with the most picks of any program this year.<\/p>\n

Alabama wide receiver Germie Bernard is drafted 47th overall by the Steelers.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Texas A&M edge Cashius Howell<\/a> is taken 41st by the Bengals. He is the third Aggie selected in the draft.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With the 36th pick, the Texans select\u00a0Kayden McDonald a defensive tackle from Ohio State.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Texas A&M guard Chase Bisontis <\/a>is drafted by the Arizona Cardinals as the 34th pick of the draft. He joins KC Concepcion as the two Aggies taken in the draft.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With the 33rd pick, Ole Miss wide receiver\u00a0De’Zhaun Stribling is the first pick of the night.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, selected by the Las Vegas Raiders, is Fernando Mendoza. The Indiana quarterback won the\u00a0Heisman Trophy on his way leading the Hoosiers to their first ever national title.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The NFL draft begins at 6 p.m. Friday in Pittsburgh, Penn. The second and third rounds will be completed.<\/p>\n

The draft will be broadcast on ESPN, ABC and NFL Network.<\/p>\n
