HPD lieutenant arrested after sending explicit images, soliciting minor, Harris Co. Pct. 1 says<\/a><\/p>\nAccording to the search warrant, the investigation began on April 1. Ngo, posing as a 28-year-old, allegedly messaged the undercover cop to ask, “Are you cool & open-minded?”<\/p>\n
Investigators say Ngo made it clear he thought he was talking to a 15-year-old, writing, “Boo, it’s risky because ur 15” and “Damn … fine, I’m gonna make an exception … Are you attracted to Asians?”<\/p>\n
The constable’s office said Ngo sent explicit photos of himself and asked the girl to do the same. According to the warrant, he told her, “Whenever I feel naughty, I just want to look at you.”<\/p>\n
He’s also accused of sending a “comfort level” questionnaire with a list of intimate acts, asking: “What are you good at from the list?”<\/p>\n
At one point, investigators say Ngo broached the prospect of pregnancy, writing, “If you get pregnant by me, then I will marry you.”<\/p>\n
Ngo asked the girl for her parents’ work schedules and whether they had any cameras installed in their home, according to the warrant.<\/p>\n
When he showed up for their meeting, investigators say he brought condoms, alcohol, gummy bears, and donuts as well as a gun and ammunition.<\/p>\n
Following his arrest, Ngo was relieved of his post at Hobby Airport.<\/p>\n
He’s since been released from jail on bond but has been ordered to stay away from anyone under the age of 17 and to stay off the internet.<\/p>\n
Eyewitness News reached out to Ngo’s listed attorney, Dick DeGuerin, for comment. He said, “This was a setup from the get-go.”<\/p>\n
