Superintendents in Tarrant County traditional public school districts and charters all earn six-figure salaries.<\/p>\n

New annual data from the Texas Education Agency detailed the salaries of school leaders who were in charge in October 2025.<\/p>\n

Birdville ISD Superintendent Gayle Stinson is at the top of the list, with a total salary of $551,576. She has led the 22,000-student district just east of Fort Worth since 2021.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Karen Molinar, the now-former superintendent of Fort Worth ISD, had the third-highest salary at $430,065. Molinar left her position<\/a> as chief of the county\u2019s biggest district in March when Texas Education Commissioner Mike Morath appointed Peter Licata<\/a> as superintendent for the takeover.<\/p>\n

FWISD\u2019s board of managers is working with Licata on a permanent superintendent contract. He is currently on a short-term contract<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The highest-paid charter superintendent is Traci Berry of New Heights<\/a>, which serves adults 18 to 50 who dropped out of high school and helps them earn their diploma. Berry earns $250,000.<\/p>\n
