Frisco-based tech consulting firm MTX Group has acquired VerifyID.ai, an AI-based digital identity verification platform designed for the public sector. MTX said the deal enhances its artificial intelligence and cybersecurity capabilities while expanding its innovation footprint in trusted digital identity solutions.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis acquisition marks another strategic step in our mission to help governments and enterprises modernize with trust and transparency,\u201d MTX Group founder and CEO Das Nobel said in a statement. \u201cIdentity is central to every digital interaction. VerifyID.ai\u2019s advanced AI and decentralized architecture will allow us to reimagine how public sector agencies verify and protect identities\u2014securely, ethically, and at scale.\u201d<\/p>\n

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.<\/p>\n

Follows MTX Group\u2019s launch of MTX ventures<\/p>\n

The move comes just weeks after MTX Group launched MTX Ventures<\/a>, a new investment arm focused on backing early- and mid-stage companies in the enterprise artificial intelligence space.<\/p>\n

MTX said that VerifyID.ai delivers a simple, flexible, and secure digital identity verification platform with built-in fraud prevention.<\/p>\n

Using advanced AI technologies for facial and ID recognition, spoof and deepfake detection, and decentralized identity verification, VerifyID.ai empowers governments and organizations to verify identities securely while giving citizens greater control over their personal data, MTX said.<\/p>\n

According to MTX, VerifyID.ai\u2019s technology enables password-less authentication, reusable digital IDs, and multi-factor verification, including AI-driven liveness detection, document integrity analysis, and fraud detection aligned with NIST 800-63A standards.<\/p>\n

VerifyID.ai\u2019s flexible deployment options\u2014Software as a Service (SaaS), managed, or enterprise-hosted\u2014make it adaptable for diverse public sector environments, from local governments to national identity frameworks, the company added.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is an exciting opportunity to bring VerifyID.ai\u2019s innovations to a broader scale through MTX\u2019s global reach,\u201d Girish Chhugani, founder of VerifyID.ai and MTX Group chief business officer, said in a statement. \u201cTogether, we\u2019ll accelerate the evolution of secure, AI-driven identity verification that enhances trust and accessibility across government systems.\u201d<\/p>\n

David Butter, MTX group chief of Client Outcomes, said the acquisition will boost the company\u2019s abilities.<\/p>\n
