Food stamp benefits are set to pause<\/a> Nov. 1 as the federal government shutdown continues.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a list of organizations offering food assistance for those in need:\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mission Arlington<\/p>\n

What: Emergency Food Assistance<\/a><\/p>\n

Where: 210 W. South St., Arlington<\/p>\n

When: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday; 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday<\/p>\n

Arlington Charities<\/p>\n

What: Food pantry
Where: 811 Secretary Drive, Arlington<\/p>\n

When: By appointment on the website<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Requirements: To sign up for an appointment to use the food pantry, you fill out an application with the organization. You can sign up here<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Arlington Salvation Army<\/p>\n

What: Food pantry<\/a><\/p>\n

Where: 712 W. Abram St., Arlington<\/p>\n

When: 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursdays<\/p>\n

Arlington Adventist Church<\/p>\n

What: REVIVE Community Care Food Pantry<\/p>\n

Where: 4409 Pleasantview Drive, Arlington<\/p>\n

When: 9 a.m.-noon Nov. 5 and 19\u00a0<\/p>\n

Requirements: To use the food pantry, you must apply here<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Water from the Rock<\/p>\n

What: Food assistance<\/p>\n

Where: 402 N.L. Robinson Drive, Arlington<\/p>\n

When: By appointment 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday<\/p>\n

Requirements: To request food assistance, call 817-860-9702. The assistance<\/a> is for central Arlington residents.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Arlington Hearts and Hands<\/p>\n

What: Food assistance<\/a><\/p>\n

Where: 1601 N. Davis Drive, Arlington<\/p>\n

When: 9-11:30 a.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. 10-11:30 a.m. and 6-7 p.m. on Wednesdays.<\/p>\n

UTA Maverick Pantry<\/p>\n

What: Food pantry specific to University of Texas at Arlington students and staff<\/a><\/p>\n

Where: 520 S. Center St., Arlington<\/p>\n

When: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays; noon-6 p.m. Thursdays; and 9 a.m.-noon Fridays.<\/p>\n

Arlington Taste Project<\/p>\n

What: Brunch or lunch at the Arlington Taste Project, the city\u2019s pay-as-you-can<\/a> restaurant.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Where: 200 N. Cooper St., Arlington<\/p>\n

When: Brunch is 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Lunch is 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday-Friday.<\/p>\n
