{"id":270300,"date":"2026-04-28T21:18:08","date_gmt":"2026-04-28T21:18:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/270300\/"},"modified":"2026-04-28T21:18:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T21:18:08","slug":"central-health-opens-hancock-center-facility-future-headquarters-providing-hiv-care","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/270300\/","title":{"rendered":"Central Health opens Hancock Center facility, future headquarters providing HIV care"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.centralhealth.net\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Central Health<\/a> opened a new center in late April providing HIV care alongside pharmacy and lab services in Central Austin.<\/p>\n<p>The 90,000-square-foot Hancock Center space is the first phase of a 200,000-square-foot campus that will eventually serve as a new headquarters for the Travis County hospital district.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is a major milestone for our system and an important step forward for the future of Travis County,&#8221; said Dr. Pat Lee, president and CEO of Central Health, in a news release.<\/p>\n<p>The details<\/p>\n<p>The $150 million facility includes the<a href=\"https:\/\/communitycaretx.org\/all-locations\/david-powell-clinic\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> David Powell Health Center<\/a>\u2014a HIV care clinic that was formerly located off I-35.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, patients may access a <a href=\"http:\/\/communitycaretx.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">CommUnityCare <\/a>pharmacy and lab services by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.questdiagnostics.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Quest Diagnostics<\/a>.
