It hasn\u2019t even been a week since the 2026 NFL Draft ended, but surely there are some of you who have your sights set on 2027. Arch Manning<\/a> is going to create some conversations.<\/p>\n

Time will tell what the Dallas Cowboys are looking for in that draft, but one thing is for certain and that is that they will be doing so with the reigning Defensive Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Super Bowl MVP all in one player on their team in Caleb Downs<\/a>? Hey, we are all dreaming.<\/p>\n

Seriously though, it is never too early to understand what lies ahead. Today we are just making sure we know what our cards say.<\/p>\n

2027 Dallas Cowboys Draft Picks<\/p>\n

The great Todd Archer clarified<\/a> exactly what these cards are on Monday in establishing what draft picks the Cowboys will have at their disposal in 2027. They have already spent a few of them.<\/p>\n

It should be noted, as Archer did, that the Cowboys will not receive any compensatory picks next year. Those wound up valuable this draft as the Cowboys flipped their two comp picks (both were in the fifth round) to the Miami Dolphins<\/a> in the trade up during the first round that led to the drafting of Downs.<\/p>\n

Here are the team\u2019s draft picks for next year.<\/p>\n

The Cowboys will owe the better of their two first-round picks to the New York Jets<\/a> as a result of the Quinnen Williams<\/a> trade<\/p>\n

Obviously they have their own, but the other one is from the Green Bay Packers<\/a> by way of the Micah Parsons<\/a> trade<\/p>\n

The Cowboys currently own their own second-round pick<\/p>\n

The Cowboys currently own their own third-round pick<\/p>\n

4<\/p>\n

The Cowboys dealt this pick to the Packers this offseason in the Rashan Gary<\/a> trade<\/p>\n

5<\/p>\n

The Cowboys dealt this pick to the Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a> last offseason in the George Pickens<\/a> trade<\/p>\n

It was actually a pick swap with Pittsburgh and Dallas received their sixth-rounder<\/p>\n

The Cowboys currently own their own sixth-round pick<\/p>\n

The Cowboys dealt this pick to the Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> in the first round this year in trading back in the first round before picking Malachi Lawrence, Dallas also picked up two fourth-rounders this year that became Devin Moore and LT Overton<\/a><\/p>\n
