A new restaurant is coming to far East El Paso.<\/p>\n

Tommy’s Korean Express<\/a> was founded by South Korean natives and longtime El Paso restaurateurs Sung Song and Tommy Hwang as a place to get “quality, simple, scratch-made Korean food.”<\/p>\n

Tommy’s Korean Express is opening a new location on Americas Avenue in far East El Paso.<\/p>\n

Tommy’s Korean Express offers online ordering for pickup or delivery, as well as catering options. Among the restaurant’s favorite offerings are the do-it-yourself ramen station, scratch-made bibimbap, and Korean-inspired snacks.<\/p>\n

Where is it?<\/p>\n

The new Tommy’s Korean Express will be located at 710 Americas Ave. in far East El Paso, according to the city’s permit and licensing page<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The new restaurant site is near the Ysleta Port of Entry and Escoto U.S. Customs Brokers just off the Border Highway.<\/p>\n

What was there before?<\/p>\n

The new Tommy’s Korean Express location is being built atop what is currently a vacant lot.<\/p>\n

Who is the contractor?<\/p>\n

The contractor for the project is not listed on the city’s website, but the applicant is\u00a0Rene\u00a0Aguilar ofEP Grotto LLC in El Paso. The owner is listed as Tommy Song.<\/p>\n

The value of the project is listed at $600,000.<\/p>\n
