Each class has been overseen by Pat McAuliff.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On Wednesday, April 29, <a href=\"https:\/\/planomagazine.com\/collin-college-catch-up\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Collin College<\/a> is celebrating the graduation of its 100th <a href=\"https:\/\/www.collin.edu\/academics\/programs\/fire-academy-fire-science-overview.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">fire academy<\/a> class with a dedication to program director Pat McAuliff.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Throughout the 100 classes, Collin College has graduated 2,157 firefighters. Each class has been overseen by McAuliff, who led the Texas Commission on Fire Protection for 36 years and developed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tcfp.texas.gov\/committee-curriculum\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">curriculum<\/a> and testing for 29 fire service professional qualifications in Texas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The ceremony is located at Collin College Public Safety Training Center (PSTC), 3600 Redbud Blvd., McKinney, Texas. The dedication will begin at 4:45 p.m., followed by the graduation at 6:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Note: The event was originally slated for Tuesday, April 28, but was rescheduled due to potentially bad weather.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Throughout the 100 classes, Collin College has graduated 2,157 firefighters.
