{"id":271591,"date":"2026-04-29T16:57:44","date_gmt":"2026-04-29T16:57:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/271591\/"},"modified":"2026-04-29T16:57:44","modified_gmt":"2026-04-29T16:57:44","slug":"mobile-home-damaged-in-overnight-fire-in-south-lubbock-county-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/271591\/","title":{"rendered":"Mobile home damaged in overnight fire in south Lubbock County"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\">LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) &#8211; A mobile home is damaged after the Lubbock County Sheriff\u2019s Office says a discarded cigarette sparked a fire overnight. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Just after 2 a.m., Wolfforth Fire and Woodrow volunteer firefighters responded to the 2000 block of CR 7220 for reports of a mobile home on fire. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">LSO says crews were able to get everyone out of the home safely. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">After an investigation, it was determined the fire was started by a discarded cigarette near the front porch. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The fire has since been contained and the Red Cross is assisting the homeowners.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 KCBD.
