AT&T Stadium will be host Thursday to a huge job fair for veterans and their spouses. <\/p>\n
Organizer Raul Torres with the Dallas Veterans Job Fair says it can be difficult for some veterans to explain their experience when shifting from the military to civilian life.<\/p>\n
“It’s kind of tough to put onto a piece of paper what you’ve done, what your experience has been,” Torres said. “And translate your skills into the civilian terminology and the civilian workforce.”<\/p>\n
There will be over 75 companies looking for employees. <\/p>\n
“There are some challenges that veterans face for sure,” Torres said. “That’s kind of why we are there to make sure we facilitate these conversations.”<\/p>\n
