Nor does she seem to worry that the Constitution authorizes the \u201ccoining of money,\u201d not the printing of money.<\/p>\n The writer states that the \u201cConfederacy created a currency that was virtually worthless after the war.\u201d<\/p>\n The Continental Congress did the same thing during the Colonies\u2019 war of secession from Britain.
