Parks &amp; Recreation Department Director Rick Atkins said the increases reflect improvements to these facilities, he said, and remain some of the lowest compared to neighboring areas.<\/p>\n<p>The details <\/p>\n<p>Changes to entry and reservation fees are under consideration for the following facilities:<\/p>\n<p>Rock&#8217;N River Water Park: $6 increase in price for day pass tickets, $18 for youth tickets and $20 for adults. This is accompanied by a $10 increase to the cost of family passes, bringing the fee to $245 for a family of four.Baseball and softball: Atkins said the proposed daily rental rate of $200 is an increase of $140. Lighting fees will also increase from $18 to $25 per hour.Pavilions: Rental rates for standard neighborhood pavilions owned by the city will increase to $100. Specific pavilions targeted for a different rate increase. In addition to its annexation into city limits, Council approved a zoning for the property of C1-a for commercial use, with some limitations. The zoning opens the property up for future redevelopment, city staff said, with building heights of up to 12 stories allowed.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/austin\/round-rock\/development\/2026\/04\/22\/trail-focused-update-to-mixed-use-development-plan-proposed-in-round-rock\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Trail-focused update to mixed-use development plan approved<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Council approved a request to amend a planned unit development zoning for a 110.54-acre property located near the southwest intersection of Kenney Fort Boulevard and East Palm Valley Boulevard at an upcoming meeting.
