The Stars fell in Game 6 to the Wild to draw a premature close to their playoff run. Losing the final three games of the series, a big chunk of the Stars’ fandom seems to be left with the feeling of simply losing to the better team.

That, and what’s next for captain Jamie Benn. The image of Benn tripping and turning the puck over to allow a game-clinching empty netter might be the lasting of, possibly, Benn’s final game with Dallas.

Check out reactions to the loss below and to the end of the Stars’ season as a whole.

now that we are officially in the offseason!! my wishlist:

– jamie benn retirement announcement
– robo contract
– seggy, roope, nils, mikko rest and healing
– myers, steel, and lybushkin off my team
– casey desmith disappears and is never heard of again
– good rhd addition

welp, the obviously better team won. sucked to not have Roope, but doubt it makes a difference.

thanks for your service, Jamie. need to get younger, faster and grimier. I like Gully and our core. let’s do it again next season.

good luck against the Avs, you turds.
