Calallen<\/a> had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Friday. They put the hurt on the King Brahmas<\/a> with a sharp 17-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 21 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.<\/p>\n Cristian Villarreal<\/a> looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn’t given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.<\/p>\n On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Wyatt Duke<\/a>, who fired off two home runs, seven RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. Those seven RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Drayson Gamez<\/a>, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.<\/p>\n Calallen kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they’ve now got at least eight hits in ten consecutive games.<\/p>\n Calallen’s record now sits at 26-2. As for King, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-17.<\/p>\n Calallen wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against London on the 18th. As for King, they also didn’t take long to hit the field again: they’ve already played their next matchup, a 9-0 defeat against Tuloso-Midway on the 21st.<\/p>\n
