The crash, according to officials, happened in the 200 block of Round Rock Road in Wimberley.<\/p>\n<p>Units were dispatched to the scene at 11:05 p.m., with law enforcement, fire and EMS officials arriving at 11:17 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The plane, a Cessna 421C, was confirmed to have crashed with five people on board. Authorities say that all five occupants lost their lives in the crash; their identities have not been released at this time.<\/p>\n<p>Fire and EMS were at the scene throughout the morning, according to Hays County Judge Ruben Becerra said.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cbsaustin.com\/news\/local\/early-voting-tops-8k-as-travis-co-prepares-for-general-and-special-elections-on-saturday\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">ALSO | Early voting tops 8K as Travis Co. prepares for General and Special Elections on Saturday<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Preliminary information indicates the plane was traveling at a high rate of speed at the time of impact, and that there is no indication of a mid-air collision.
