Corpus Christi Medical Center named to Forbes top hospital list<\/a><\/p>\nCHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi-Shoreline and CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Alice were both included in the list that was put together for the first time ever. That list is a result of work done by Forbes in partnership with a healthcare analytics firm called Inovalon.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The group looked at publicly available data from over 2,600 eligible hospitals across the United States and judged hospitals on quality, patient outcomes and overall care. \u00a0<\/p>\n
The Alice facility was given a 3-star rating overall and was highlighted for its strong performance in patient outcomes, including a 4-star rating in that particular category.<\/p>\n
\u00a0CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Alice also earned several 5-star scores for categories such as the way staff explained medications, bathroom cleanliness and reduction of days in the hospital following heart treatments.<\/p>\n
CHRISTUS Spohn Shoreline was also given a 3-star overall rating and showed strong performances in patient safety and experiences. Shoreline earned 5-star scores in room and bathroom cleanliness along with exceptional surgical experiences for patients.<\/p>\n
