\nKalmar previously set the record last season at 1:46.86.

\nTwo Mavericks also moved into UTA’s all-time top five. Emilia Mandl<\/a> placed second and now ranks No. 4 in program history in the women’s outdoor 800m, while Dorcas Jepkosgei<\/a> sits at No.5 all-time in the women’s outdoor 1500m.
\n\u00a0
\nUTA saw multiple podium finishes throughout the day. Angel Sanchez<\/a> earned silver in the men’s 1500m with a PR of 3:48.23. Lucas Cano<\/a> also earned second in the men’s discus at 52.20m.

\nSimona Cabella<\/a> (3.60m, women’s pole vault), Mateo Doherty<\/a> (3:50.16 PR, men’s 1500m), Hayden Wilson<\/a> (17.03m, men’s shot put) and Arieanna Mcpeak<\/a> (12.55m, women’s triple jump) each earned bronze medals on Saturday.

\nThe Mavericks recorded over 10 personal-bests across the two-day meet.
