HOUSTON \u2013 The City of Houston is set to reveal plans for one of its biggest annual celebrations \u2014 Freedom Over Texas \u2014 during an announcement at City Hall on Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n
Houston Mayor John Whitmire will lead the 2 p.m. briefing. <\/p>\n
Officials are expected to unveil key details for the city\u2019s official Fourth of July event, including this year\u2019s headlining performers, a large-scale fireworks show, and expanded festival offerings.<\/p>\n
Freedom Over Texas is widely considered Houston\u2019s signature Independence Day event, combining live music, family-friendly activities, and one of the region\u2019s most anticipated fireworks displays.<\/p>\n
The announcement will take place inside the Legacy Room at Houston City Hall, where several event partners and city leaders are scheduled to speak. <\/p>\n
More information is expected to be released following Monday\u2019s announcement.<\/p>\n
