After opening three new locations over the summer,\u00a0Buc-ee’s<\/a> isn’t slowing down anytime soon. It continues to expand its footprint of gargantuan gas stations with locations slated to open across the country, including two in Texas.<\/p>\n

The brand has created a\u00a0cult-like following<\/a>\u00a0centered around its clean restrooms and above-average culinary offerings. Founded in 1982, the Texas-based company has quickly become one of the state’s most recognized exports.<\/p>\n

It opened its first location west of Texas in\u00a0Johnstown, Colorado in 2024<\/a>\u00a0and is in the process of building its first location in the Southwest.<\/p>\n

The company prides itself on its outsized stores, exemplified\u00a0by its\u00a0largest location in Luling, which it opened<\/a> last year, replacing the brand\u2019s first family travel center with a 75,000-square-foot\u00a0temple to highway convenience. Soon, two more Central Texas towns will get Buc-ee’s of their own.<\/p>\n

New locations are planned in seven states throughout the country, including two in Texas:<\/p>\n

Over the summer Buc-ee’s opened three locations, including its first in Virginia and Mississippi:<\/p>\n

The Lone Star State boasts the vast majority of Buc-ee’s locations<\/a>, with 36 currently in operation.<\/p>\n

The biggest Buc-ee’s standing today<\/a> is in Luling, Texas \u2014 and it’s also the largest convenience store in the world. It opened in June 2024, replacing the original Buc-ee’s that was built in 2003.<\/p>\n

About one hour south of Austin, the Luling Buc-ee’s spans over 75,000 square feet and features 120 fuel pumps.
