<\/p>\nHOUSTON — Two adults and two children were found dead inside a Texas home on Monday, police said.<\/p>\n
The Houston Police Department said officers responded to a welfare check at around 5:26 p.m. local time in the 2100-block of Kingston Street in the River Oaks area.<\/p>\n
Police say that a babysitter alerted officers after having concerns that she hadn’t heard from the family. Upon arrival, HPD said officers first entered the home.<\/p>\n
According to HPD, police said that the two adults and the two children are all family members. Detectives believe that the incident is a murder-suicide, HPD said.<\/p>\n
The family was identified as Matthew and Thy Mitchell, owners of Traveler’s Table, according to the hospitality group.<\/p>\n

The Houston Police Department is calling Matthew, age 52, the suspect in the case.<\/p>\n
Matthew and Thy, along with their two kids, were found dead Monday evening after a welfare check call, according to reports.. Authorities said a babysitter and a family member reported not hearing from the Mitchells.<\/p>\n
The kids’ names were not released, but authorities said they were 8 and 4 years old.<\/p>\n
