According to KCBD<\/a>, the Pontos concept was born during time spent near local lakes in Lubbock, where Mulsow saw a need for easier access to outdoor recreation.<\/p>\n

Since then, the project has gained traction through Texas Tech\u2019s Innovation Hub and startup competitions, earning funding and support to move toward production.<\/p>\n

Now, the Kickstarter campaign aims to take Pontos to the next level by securing backers who want to see the product hit the market. Reward tiers will be announced when the campaign is live.<\/p>\n
