AUBURN, Ala. \u2013 No. 3 Auburn equestrian will compete in its third consecutive meet in the state of Texas this season when it faces No. 7 TCU on Friday at 10 a.m. CT at Bear Creek Farms in Burleson, Texas. Auburn enters the meet 2-1 after back-to-back meets decided by tiebreakers.<\/p>\n
\u201cA little different scenario this week,\u201d Auburn head coach Jessica Braswell<\/a> said. \u201cAs we were preparing for Texas A&M and SMU, we had weeks to get ready, and for this trip we had about four days to prepare, so it looks a little bit different in our preparation. The good news about that is that we\u2019re in a rhythm \u2014 it\u2019s just learning new patterns.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have to figure out what we learned from this weekend: building our consistency and building our performance. We haven\u2019t been to TCU in a very long time, so everything will be new. None of us have actually traveled to the facility where they are currently, which is great preparation for the end of the year and for the postseason.\u201d<\/p>\n The Tigers tied Texas A&M in College Station 10-10 on Friday before falling on a raw-score tiebreaker. On Saturday, Auburn again finished 10-10 but won the raw-score tiebreaker by less than a point over SMU.<\/p>\n Auburn\u2019s Horsemanship squad impressed over the weekend, going 5-0 against the Aggies and 3-2 against the Mustangs. The lineup will remain the same, featuring Caroline Fredenburg<\/a>, Callie Hogg<\/a>, Brooke Jolstad<\/a>, Sydney Swallom<\/a> and Alexia Tordoff<\/a>. The Tigers\u2019 Reining lineup will include Hogg, Tordoff, Caroline Buchanan<\/a>, Michelle Fumagalli<\/a> and Sofia Tieche<\/a>.<\/p>\n In the Jumping Seat events, Auburn\u2019s Fences lineup will feature Sadie Berkhout<\/a>, Avery Glynn<\/a>, Kate Hagerty<\/a>, Ariana Marnell<\/a> and Caroline Olsen<\/a>, while the Flat lineup will include Berkhout, Glynn, Marnell, Olsen and Baylee Mckeever<\/a>.<\/p>\n Auburn earned both Most Outstanding Performer honors in jumping seat events on Saturday, as Glynn was recognized in Fences after scoring an 88 and Marnell received the honor on the Flat after scoring an 87.5.<\/p>\n Auburn leads the all-time series over TCU 9-2 and has won each of the last seven meetings.
