\t\t\t\t\t\t\tKeller City Council unanimously approved the rehabilitation and resurfacing of eight streets at a regular council meeting Oct. 21.<\/p>\n

What you need to know<\/p>\n

The road renovations are part of a collaboration with staff from Tarrant County in the Pavement Maintenance Program and is a temporary addition to other collaborations with the county, according to city documents<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Precinct 3<\/a> of Tarrant County will provide the labor and equipment for the roadwork, and the city of Keller will cover the costs. The roadwork is estimated to cost about $1.29 million and will be paid through the Street System Capital Improvements Project Fund with funding from the city\u2019s general fund, according to city documents.<\/p>\n

Existing pavement will be replaced with a new base for parts of the following streets:<\/p>\n

Cheyenne TrailNorth Pearson LaneWillis LaneRoanoke RoadJudge Bland RoadLucian LaneOakhill RoadOak TrailConstruction is scheduled to begin in January and is expected to be completed by August, according to a city social media<\/a> post.
