HOUSTON \u2013 Authorities are investigating after a body was reportedly found along Brays Bayou late Wednesday morning in southeast Houston.<\/p>\n
According to the Houston Police Department, officers were dispatched around 10:40 a.m. on Wednesday following reports of a body seen on the bank of the bayou near the 5200 block of Calhoun Road.<\/p>\n
Details remain limited, but police confirmed that a dive team was called to the scene as part of the response. <\/p>\n
The department\u2019s homicide division is also involved in the investigation, which is standard procedure when a body is discovered under unclear circumstances.<\/p>\n
The Houston Fire Department also responded to the area, with units reportedly dispatched to a nearby address along Martin Luther King Boulevard.<\/p>\n
