The chain-exclusive to Texas-will be renovating the 5000 State Highway 121 restaurant space. While the previous tenant and Lupe Tortilla have a great deal in common, the work required will still be relatively extensive-paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation describes it as: \u201cComplete interior remodel of existing building. Exterior finish remodel to meet Lupe Tortilla design standards.\u201d<\/p>\n

Locals will be able to begin charting the restaurant\u2019s progress before the year is out; work is set to begin on the 8,233 square foot space by December 31 of this year. The project is estimated to wrap by May 31 of 2026, a positive indicator for a late spring or early summer opening.<\/p>\n
