TARRANT COUNTY, Texas \u2014 A child has been air lifted, and three others injured after a hazmat incident in Tarrant County, according to Everman Emergency Services.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Officials say the incident happened at 6 p.m. Thursday in the 5100 block of Wilson Rd.\u00a0<\/p>\n
When Everman firefighters arrived on scene, officials say they found two people outside a home, saying a child was inside. Firefighters entered the home, took the child outside, and immediately started giving life support.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Officials say the 1-year-old child was care flighted to Parkland Hospital with serious injuries, while the two other patients were treated on scene with minor injuries.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Officials say one Everman firefighter was taken to JPS Hospital in Fort Worth in stable condition after being exposed to the unknown chemical.<\/p>\n
Everman EMS says the Tarrant County ESD 1 and the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene as well.\u00a0<\/p>\n
