Read the\u00a0original article and more business content here<\/a>.<\/p>\n The largest bank in the country will help finance construction of the $1 billion-plus global headquarters that AT&T Inc.<\/a> plans to build in Plano.<\/p>\n A spokesperson for\u00a0JPMorgan Chase<\/a> told Dallas Business Journal it will provide AT&T with a $400 million loan. Terms of the loan were not disclosed and it was not immediately clear when the deal closed. However, the loan represents a major milestone of the new HQ campus and underscores how this huge Collin County project involves other giant corporate names.<\/p>\n The news of the loan comes as AT&T (NYSE: AT&T) is set to relocate its headquarters from downtown Dallas to Plano. AT&T\u2019s lease at the 37-story Whitacre Tower at 208 S. Akard St. runs through Dec. 31, 2031. But CEO John Stankey previously told employees move-ins could start in the second half of 2028.<\/p>\n Plano in February approved a $20 million incentives package<\/a> for AT&T, the city’s largest ever, with grants and property tax breaks. To receive the incentives, AT&T must invest at least $1.35 billion and create 10,000 jobs.<\/p>\n
