Box Score<\/a> ARLINGTON, Texas \u2013 Caylon Dygert<\/a> delivered a dominant performance on the mound and Zach Mazoch<\/a> provided the power as UT Arlington shut out Utah Tech 2-0 on Friday night at Clay Gould Ballpark.<\/p>\n The Mavericks broke through in the fifth inning when Mazoch led off with an inside-the-park home run to give UTA a 1-0 lead. Clark Springs<\/a> followed with a bunt single and advanced to second on an error before moving to third on Preston Knott’s<\/a> sacrifice bunt. Austin Phillips<\/a> added a sacrifice fly to right center, plating Springs to extend the advantage to 2-0.<\/p>\n Dygert earned the win, working 7.0 innings and allowing just three hits with four strikeouts.
