{"id":285599,"date":"2026-05-09T07:35:36","date_gmt":"2026-05-09T07:35:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/285599\/"},"modified":"2026-05-09T07:35:36","modified_gmt":"2026-05-09T07:35:36","slug":"tlca-san-angelo-cheerleader-signs-with-lubbock-christian-university","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/285599\/","title":{"rendered":"TLCA San Angelo Cheerleader Signs With Lubbock Christian University"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"line-height:1.866667;margin-bottom:10pt;margin-top:10pt;\" dir=\"ltr\">SAN ANGELO, TX \u2014 TLCA San Angelo senior Sydnee Davis Owens signed Thursday to continue her cheerleading career at Lubbock Christian University.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height:1.866667;margin-bottom:10pt;margin-top:10pt;\" dir=\"ltr\">Owens is a three-time All-American cheerleader who was chosen to participate in the London New Year\u2019s Day parade in England during her sophomore year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height:1.866667;margin-bottom:10pt;margin-top:10pt;\" dir=\"ltr\">She will now take her talents up the road to Lubbock to be a member of the NCAA Division II school\u2019s cheerleading squad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height:1.866667;margin-bottom:10pt;margin-top:10pt;\" dir=\"ltr\">Owens \u201ctruly represents the heart of TLCA,\u201d the school stated in a Facebook post. She serves as TLCA\u2019s senior class vice president, a student council leader, a youth sports coach, regularly sings the national anthem, and has participated in countless academic and extracurricular activities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height:1.866667;margin-bottom:10pt;margin-top:10pt;\" dir=\"ltr\">Owens also participated in volleyball and track and field.
