Details of Cuban\u2019s involvement were not provided, but the Honey Badgers noted that he has strong connections to the CEBL team.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Cuban sold his majority stake in American cable company HDNet to Honey Badgers\u2019 majority owner, Anthem Sports and Entertainment, and the team\u2019s chief executive officer, Al Whitley, is a former Mavericks executive.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Cuban was the majority owner of the Mavericks from 2000, when he bought a stake in the team from H. Ross Perot, until 2023, when he sold controlling interest to Miriam Adelson.
