The Minnesota Timberwolves<\/a> desperately needed a response Sunday night. Anthony Edwards<\/a> delivered one fueled by something far bigger than basketball. Following Minnesota\u2019s gritty 114-109 victory<\/a> over the San Antonio Spurs<\/a> in Game 4 of the 2026 Western Conference Semifinals, Edwards opened up about the emotional inspiration behind his dominant performance.<\/p>\n

Entering the game, the Timberwolves stared at the possibility of a devastating home loss. Edwards erupted for 36 points and later revealed the deeper motivation that pushed him<\/a> through the pressure-packed night.<\/p>\n
