The summer schedule for Corpus Christi pools and splash pads will start May 30 and continue through Aug. 9.<\/p>\n

The city of Corpus Christi said in a news release that the Parks and Recreation Department implemented water-saving measures at all pools and splash pads to adapt to the ongoing drought.<\/p>\n

The efforts involve using a solar shield water additive to minimize evaporation and pool covers to further reduce evaporation when not in operation. The measures are expected to save up to 95% of the water use.<\/p>\n

Here are the hours and locations for Corpus Christi pools and splash pads:<\/p>\n

Bill Witt Aquatic Center: 6809 Yorktown Blvd.<\/p>\n

The lap pool is open for lap swim from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and for open swim from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n

The recreational pool is open from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.<\/p>\n

Collier Pool: 3801 Harris Drive<\/p>\n

Lap swim is open from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.<\/p>\n

Open swim is open from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.<\/p>\n

Corpus Christi Natatorium: 3802 Cabaniss Parkway<\/p>\n

Open from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday through Tuesday<\/p>\n

Greenwood Pool: 4305 Greenwood Drive<\/p>\n

Open from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday<\/p>\n

H-E-B Pool: 1520 Shely St.<\/p>\n

Open from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday through Sunday<\/p>\n

Oso Pool: 1109 Bernice Drive<\/p>\n

Open from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday through Sunday<\/p>\n

West Guth Pool: 9705 Up River Road<\/p>\n
