{"id":288733,"date":"2026-05-11T23:59:15","date_gmt":"2026-05-11T23:59:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/288733\/"},"modified":"2026-05-11T23:59:15","modified_gmt":"2026-05-11T23:59:15","slug":"police-id-lubbock-man-killed-after-being-struck-by-vehicle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/288733\/","title":{"rendered":"Police ID Lubbock man killed after being struck by vehicle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>May 11, 2026, 1:55 p.m. CT<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Police have identified a 69-year-old man who died after being struck by a vehicle Saturday morning in west Lubbock.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Officers were initially called about 7:46 a.m. May 9 to the 5100 block of 19th Street for a reportof a collision with injuries involving a pedestrian, according to a statement from Lubbock police.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Upon arrival, officers located 69-year-old Charles Hargrove.
