{"id":290464,"date":"2026-05-13T01:51:07","date_gmt":"2026-05-13T01:51:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/290464\/"},"modified":"2026-05-13T01:51:07","modified_gmt":"2026-05-13T01:51:07","slug":"ntpa-collegiate-pursuits-launches-prescreen-bootcamp-for-aspiring-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/290464\/","title":{"rendered":"NTPA Collegiate Pursuits launches Prescreen Bootcamp for aspiring students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The boot camp is open to grades 10-12 and will take place from approximately 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at NTPA Plano on Fridays and NTPA Dallas on weekends.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/planomagazine.com\/ntpa-orchestra\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">North Texas Performing Arts<\/a>\u2018 Collegiate Pursuits announced its inaugural <a href=\"https:\/\/ntpa.org\/event\/prescreen-bootcamp-pursuits\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pursuits Prescreen Bootcamp<\/a>, a three-day training experience for high school students working on their college audition process.<\/p>\n<p>From July 31 to August 2, college faculty from multiple programs will conduct mock auditions and provide individualized feedback.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis bootcamp is designed to meet students exactly where they are in their audition journey,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/ntpa.org\/pursuits\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Collegiate Pursuits<\/a> Program Director Kameron Knott said. \u201cBy focusing specifically on the prescreen audition materials, we\u2019re giving students the opportunity to test their material, receive diverse feedback, and leave feeling confident and prepared to film their pre-screen auditions in August.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The program will also include overviews of each college\u2019s performing arts program.<\/p>\n<p>The boot camp is open to grades 10-12 and will take place from approximately 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at NTPA Plano on Fridays and NTPA Dallas on Saturdays and Sundays.
