{"id":290480,"date":"2026-05-13T02:02:41","date_gmt":"2026-05-13T02:02:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/290480\/"},"modified":"2026-05-13T02:02:41","modified_gmt":"2026-05-13T02:02:41","slug":"covenant-health-opens-registration-for-fifth-annual-summer-camp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/290480\/","title":{"rendered":"Covenant Health opens registration for fifth annual summer camp"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\">LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) &#8211; Registration is open to attend Covenant Health\u2019s fifth annual Covenant Ready Summer Camp.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">It is a one-day camp to let middle schoolers experience firsthand what it is like to work at the hospital.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Students will explore a wide range of health care careers and hear from professionals in each field including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, medics, respiratory therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists and speech therapists.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">There will be two sessions in June on the 16th or 17th, as well as in July on the 8th or 9th.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The camp will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Maxey Park, located at 4007 30th St.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Lunch will be provided.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Attendance is limited to 100 students per session.
