The Hill Country house that Round Rock Donuts built is being auctioned off May 21. Previously listed for as much as $3.75 million, the Salado estate<\/a> is now headed to the auction block through Platinum Luxury Auctions in tandem with Ron Jones of Keller Williams Realty Lone Star after spending several years on and off the market.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe property enjoys direct access to one of the area\u2019s spring-fed waterways, part of a broader network of creeks that wind through the community and feed into the Salado Creek,\u201d the listing says. \u201cThese waterways are known for their clear, spring-fed origins and year-round flow, creating a lush, park-like environment where residents can enjoy wildlife and shaded trails.\u201d<\/p>\n

Round Rock Donuts owners Paul and Cathy Guderyahn are selling the 7.5-acre Hidden Springs Estate, which features:<\/p>\n

An 8,051-square-foot main residence with four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a half bathroom.An 1,120-square-foot guest cottage with one bedroom and one bathroom.A 489-square-foot \u201cman cave\u201d studio with one bedroom and one bathroom.<\/p>\n

Amenities at the main house include a two-story primary suite with a stone fireplace, a sitting area, dual closets, a spa-inspired bath with heated floors, a multihead walk-in shower, and an oversized soaking tub.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, you\u2019ll find a large chef\u2019s kitchen outfitted with high-end appliances, custom soft-close cabinetry, and a walk-in pantry; two dedicated offices; a wine cellar; a theater room; a gym; and a large balcony with remote-controlled screens.<\/p>\n

The Guderyahns bought the property in 2021, according to Mansion Global<\/a>. They\u2019re selling it because they\u2019re spending more time in Florida and less time in Texas.<\/p>\n

The centerpiece of the seven-year-old estate is the resort-style pool. The Guderyahns invested more than $800,000 in the pool complex as part of a broader $1.1 million renovation. The complex offers a swim-up bar, spa, fire pit, outdoor kitchen, and sunset views.<\/p>\n

In 1978, Cathy Guderyahn\u2019s parents took over Round Rock Donuts, which opened in 1926 as Lone Star Bakery.
