Police said he crossed the 6100 block of Alameda Avenue in South-Central El Paso when a pickup truck was heading westbound along Alameda Avenue. Gonzalez was accused of crossing into the pickup truck\u2019s pathway, causing the crash.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Gonzalez was reportedly thrown onto the ground when another pickup truck, a Toyota Tacoma, struck him .<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">He died at the scene, according to police.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">This pedestrian crash marks the city\u2019s 20th traffic fatality in 2026 compared to 22 this same time lat year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc.
