ARLINGTON, Texas \u2014 A 30-year-old man was arrested on a deadly conduct charge after police said a gunshot fired inside an Arlington apartment went through a wall and grazed a neighboring resident.<\/p>\n
Officers were called to an apartment complex in the 1600 block of Carter Drive just after 11 p.m. Wednesday. The 911 caller told police he heard a gunshot and felt something graze his leg. Investigators later found a bullet hole in the wall of his apartment and determined the shot had come from a neighboring unit, police said.<\/p>\n
The man was not seriously injured.<\/p>\n
Concerned someone inside the adjoining apartment may have been hurt, officers attempted several times to contact anyone inside before forcing entry into the unit, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Officers found multiple people inside the apartment, but none were injured.<\/p>\n
During the investigation, however, police said they learned 30-year-old David Hernandez Martinez had multiple firearms. They also found a bullet hole in the wall connected to the neighboring apartment where the victim was grazed, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Hernandez Martinez was arrested and booked into the Arlington City Jail on one count of deadly conduct.<\/p>\n
