These area performances over the weekend will suffice if you\u2019re over the fright fests. So get your cultured vibe on and leave the tricks and treats for the holiday enthusiasts.<\/p>\n

Maria Callas in Concert: The Hologram Tour: In celebration of the Music Hall at Fair Park Centennial, Broadway Dallas and The Dallas Opera team up to present this surreal, one-night-only concert event. State-of-the-art holographic technology will bring world-renowned opera star Maria Callas to life with the soprano\u2019s digitally remastered recordings. The concert will include arias from Bellini, Bizet, Verdi, Puccini, Gounod, and more, with live accompaniment from The Dallas Opera Orchestra. Oct. 31. BroadwayDallas.org.<\/a><\/p>\n

TITAS\/Dance Unbound presents Ballet Preljocaj: France\u2019s Ballet Preljocaj returns with GRAVIT\u00c9, an exploration of gravity and movement. The company hasn\u2019t performed here since 1998. Based in Aix-en-Provence, this company is known for its bold, dramatic choreography, brought to life through pure athleticism and artistry to create captivating contemporary dance. The Trade: A Tragedy in Four Quarters: The scariest thing about this Theatre Three show is reliving the tragic trade of Luka Don\u0109i\u0107 to the Lakers. A comedy play about the infamous chapter in Dallas Mavericks history is also a triumph of the stage. Quintin Jones Jr. plays the villainous Mavs general manager Nico Harrison followed by a Greek chorus of actors who take on such roles as Jason Kidd, Mark Cuban and, of course, Don\u0109i\u0107. Matt Lyle and Matt Coleman\u2019s play is a display of razor-sharp writing and clever humor that fills every riveting minute of the show. The show closes on Nov. 2. Theatre3Dallas.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

MOSAIC: Fall Ensemble Showcase: Experience Turtle Creek Chorale in a whole different fashion. This concert features performances by the TCC Chamber Chorus, TerraVox, Coloratura and the Turtle Creek Dance Company.
